An exquisite haze has swallowed the sky,
The clouds, like lovers, press close to the ground,
And you and I, here, alone, in the dry,
Have so much to share, but don't dare make a sound.
We stood on the past, but we looked to the present:
"D'you remember the place where we parted our ways?
'Hello' and 'goodbye' are no less evanescent,
Than two flashes of light in these turbulent days
"
