Welcome

Tue Sep 18, 2007, 2:58 PM
On this page, you will find my poetry and (perhaps) other artsy output.

I'm not a huge devotee of DeviantArt (was once) and I'm not someone who particularly wishes recognition or an audience, but I do feel an urge to have my poetry up somewhere. Publication anywhere, even a place where the only reader will be a chance internet surfer in a hurry to get somewhere else, puts a certain pressure on the writer without which, I feel, a poem cannot be truly finished. DeviantArt is as good a place as any.

You who have come here, Welcome.

My better poems (in alphabetical order):
Captain D. Kolesnikoff [link]
Century [link]
Clouds Gently Drift through the Sky [link]
Do Not Shoot [link]
Epitaph to an Actor [link]
Flew the Clouds [link]
Halted Flight [link]
My Hope... [link]
Pasternak's Hamlet (a translation) [link]
Reunion (The Storm) [link]

What do you think of my latest deviation? I wrote it in early June this year.

For you I'll wait
Til kingdom come
Until my day
My day is done
Just say you'll come
And set me free
Just say you'll wait
You'll wait for me
